Grillled pork belly in savory marinade
Ingredients
- 2000g liempo
Marinade
- 1 tbsp / 7.4g ginger
- 1 tbsp / 9g garlic
- 1/4 cup / 63g lemongrass
- 2 tsp / 7.34g MAGGI® Sinigang Soup Mix
- 1 tbsp / 8g MAGGI® Magic Sarap
- 2 tbsp / 30ml MAGGI® Liquid Seasoning
- 2 tbsp / 25g white sugar
- 1/2 cup / 125ml white lemon soda
- 1 tsp / 2.33g black pepper
Basting Sauce
- 3 tbsp / 45ml achuete oil
- 1/3 cup / 75g margarine
- 1 tbsp / 8g MAGGI® Magic Sarap
- 1 tbsp / 15ml MAGGI® Liquid Seasoning
Preparation

1Prepare marinade by combining all the ingredients for marinade.

2Marinate the pork in the prepared marinade for at least 1 hour, better if overnight

3Prepare the basting sauce.

4Skewer the pork and grill the pork on charcoal or on a flat slightly greased pan. Brush with the basting sauce on both sides and cook for 1 minute on each side or until brown on both sides. Serve with rice and atchara.
