Beef Pares

Chinese-style stewed beef.

MAGGI® Beef Stock20 g
MAGGI® Concentrated Liquid Seasoning30 ml
Cooking oil15 ml
Ginger strips15 g
Sliced beef kamto500 g
Water1000 ml
Star anise2 pc
Sesame oil15 ml
Cornstarch with water30 ml
Chopped spring onions12 g
Chopped kinchay12g



  1. Saute ginger in oil.
  2. Stir in the beef kamto & season with MAGGI® Beef Stock.
  3. Add water and star anise and boil beef until tender.
  4. When beef is tender, strain the soup stock.
  5. In a pan, cook beef with sugar and MAGGI® Concentrated Liquid Seasoning until sauce coats the beef.
  6. Add the remaining stock and thicken with cornstarch.
  7. Finish with sesame oil, spring onions, and kinchay.
