Beef Pares
Chinese-style stewed beef.
Ingredients
- MAGGI® Beef Stock 20 g
- MAGGI® Concentrated Liquid Seasoning 30 ml
- Cooking oil 15 ml
- Ginger strips 15 g
- Sliced beef kamto 500 g
- Water 1000 ml
- Star anise 2 pc
- Sesame oil 15 ml
- Cornstarch with water 30 ml
- Chopped spring onions 12 g
- Chopped kinchay 12g
Preparation

1Saute ginger in oil.

2Stir in the beef kamto & season with MAGGI® Beef Stock.

3Add water and star anise and boil beef until tender.

4When beef is tender, strain the soup stock.

5In a pan, cook beef with sugar and MAGGI® Concentrated Liquid Seasoning until sauce coats the beef.

6Add the remaining stock and thicken with cornstarch.

7Finish with sesame oil, spring onions, and kinchay.
