Bulalo
Traditional beef soup
Ingredients
- Beef bulalo and beef shank, sliced 2000 g
- Water, 10 cups (2500 ml)
- MAGGI® Beef Stock 40 g
- Black peppercorns, 1 tbsp (4.67 g)
- Onion, quartered 1 large (60 g)
- Garlic cloves 4 pcs (20 g)
- Native pechay or cabbage, cleaned, halved 2 bunches
Preparation

1Place beef bulalo in a pot with water, black peppercorns, onions, and garlic cloves.

2Let boil then simmer over medium low heat in a covered pot until beef is tender around 3 hours. Skim the scum during boiling.

3Simmer the soup and season with MAGGI® Beef Stock.

4Add prepared vegetables. Simmer for 30 seconds or until the vegetables are cooked. Serve while hot with steamed rice.
