Peruvian Chicken Skewers

Ingredients
  • 6 pcs / 1000g chicken thigh fillets
  • 1 tbsp / 8g MAGGI® Professional Magic Sarap
  • 1/2 tbsp / 8.5g MAGGI® Chicken Stock
  • white onions
  • red and green bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup / 125ml olive oil
  • 1/2 cup / 125ml corn oil
  • 2 tsp / 10g MAGGI® Sinigang Soup Mix
  • 6 pcs labuyo
  • 8 cloves garlic
  • 2 pcs onions
  • 1 tbsp / 4.2g oregano
  • 1 tbsp / 7g paprika
  • 2 tsp / 8g sugar
  • 1 tbsp / 8g MAGGI® Professional Magic Sarap
  • 1/2 tsp / 2.3g black pepper
  • 2 tbsp / 30ml water
  • 1 pc pimiento
Sauce
  • 2 tbsp / 29.5ml vegetable oil
  • 4 pcs crushed garlic
  • 1 small red onion
  • 6 pcs labuyo
  • 1 tbsp / 4.2g oregano
  • 2 tbsp / 14g sweet paprika
  • 2 pcs pimiento
  • 2 tsp MAGGI® Sinigang dissolved in 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tsp / 8g brown sugar
  • 1 tsp / 4g MAGGI® Magic Sarap
  • 1/4 cup / 57.5g mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup / 60ml NESTLÉ® All Purpose Cream

    Combine the MAGGI® Supreme Seasoning Granules and MAGGI® Chicken Stock and use to rub the chicken.

    Blend together all of the marinade ingredients. Place the chicken in the marinade and marinate overnight.

    Skewer the chicken pieces with onion cubes and red and green bell pepper.

    Grill 6-8 minutes per side.

    Make the sauce by sauteing the garlic, onion in oil. Add the labuyo, sweet paprika, oregano, and pimiento and saute for 30 seconds. Add the dissolved Sinigang and brown sugar. Then season with MAGGI® Magic Sarap. Turn off heat then add the mayonnaise and NESTLE® All Purpose Cream. Mix well and serve with the chicken.
